Adventist Health System Signs Lexi-Comp as Drug Information Provider

The agreement provides clinicians throughout the system unlimited site-wide access to the Lexi-Comp Knowledge Solution (http://www.lexi.com/institutions/products.jsp?id=knowledge), a comprehensive suite of databases and clinical modules delivered online and on PDA and smartphone devices.

Lexi-Comp's relationship with AHS began in October 2009 when they signed on to provide drug information services to the Florida Hospital for Children, an AHS facility. This opened the door with the seven Florida Hospital campuses, and in February 2010, Lexi-Comp was awarded the contract to provide their services to 33 hospitals throughout Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin. These 33 facilities service over 5900 beds.
